Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join our team full-time. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems. Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and software.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and security.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
• Automate tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Configure and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams to support software development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Linux administration and IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or System Administrator.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certification in Linux or related technologies (e.g., LPIC, RHCE) is a plus.
